ArtinSoft’s Informix Line Counter
System requirements
- The tool requires you to have the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed,
and to make sure that its executable file (java.exe) is in the PATH environment
variable.
The Informix Line Counter is a simple command-line tool that you can run against
your Informix 4GL applications to determine the total lines of code and some other
basic characteristics.
How to run it:

Download the .zip file and extract its content in the computer where the Informix
4GL application is located.

Make sure that all the source code is under a directory tree

From the command line, execute the tool in the directory where the zip file was
opened:
Example: c:\glc>glc.bat <Informix 4GL applications directory>
Output:
The tool will create two text files, containing the statistics for the 4GL application:
LineCountResults4GL.txt and LineCountResultsC.txt.
