ArtinSoft Corporation announced a new webcast with Microsoft showcasing their recently-launched Visual Basic Upgrade Companion 4.0 and how it can used to easily migrate applications developed in Visual Basic 6.0 to both Visual Basic .NET and C# using the Visual Studio 2010 development system.
The latest version of ArtinSoft’s powerful, customizable and extensible VB migration product introduced loads of new features and enhancements that increase productivity on conversion projects even further. For example, it comes with a brand new mapping mechanism to migrate the most commonly used ActiveX grids to their .NET equivalents, brings a broad range of predefined migration profiles, and displays all the information to the user (interface, EWIs, log info, command line, etc) in several languages beside English, such as German and Japanese.
